I just placed my last pair of pups tonight. This
person told me what I've already noticed -- you cannot
get gerbils in any of our local pet stores.
He said the reason is because of a recent discovery
that gerbils are very close to humans in gastro and
ulcer medical issues and the gerbil breeders have
shifted into filling this demand.
Has anyone else heard this? Perhaps this is why Paige
was asked for 100's of gerbils(?) Are other people
finding there to be no gerbils in their petstores?
