To everyone, I received a reply to my inquiry to the
person who emailed Paige looking for gerbils.

They are supplying a chain store.... Quote:

"I appreciate your response. We are supplying a major pet
chain with gerbils and cannot fill our orders. I realize it is
dfficult to move those animals. We have a cargo truck specifically
equipped for moving small furry animals. We deliver animals
to large petstores with this vehicle. We also have animals
shipped to us via airlines as we need to. I appreciate your
concern for these animals.

How many gerbils do you have available? Would you be
able to supply us on a weekly basis? Do you have enough
available that I could send a driver to pick them up? What
is your selling price? "

I have a standing offer in this state, that if I could setup and
supply on a regular basis, of eleven stores in one chain and
fifteen in another, plus about six privately owned stores or
chain stores that are allowed to contract independently.

ALL their gerbils, syrian hamsters, dwarf campbells....and
anything else I'd care to breed (chinchillas, mice, rats,
guinea pigs, rabbits, and even ferrets. I'm getting begged
and groveled to to do rabbits again).

And of course, there would be the usual...trying to keep out
disease, delivering, and keeping production at such a level
that I could meet demand.

I think that's what happened to these people. They got in
over their head and can't fill their contract.

I did put in my reply that I was in Colorado Springs in
Colorado, and they offered to send a truck, but I still
don't know where they're located even...
