Pups

My gerbil babies were five weeks old yesterday. Today I put the three boys in
a new tank with dad. Is it okay to leave the two girls with the mother or
should there just be one? Right now all the males are in a 10 gallon long
while all the females are in a 20L tank. I guess the new pups will be here
soon if at all for my mother gerbil doesn't look pregnant but then she didn't
last time either and then one day there was five pups in the nest.
