i give mom and dad 2 walnuts or almonds, so they get busy with eating
their favorite food. then i handle the babies. and they don't care much
about it. :-) i pick only one, while others are still in. but don't destroy
the nest. just gently pick a pup out of it.
but if they are really comfortable with your hand in the cage, then
there is no problem, but i think every animal is a little bit upset if
you're trying to pick the animal-mom's or dad's pups.

were 2 weeks old as of yesterday. I can see them in their nest as it
is right up against the
glass of the tank. My question is whether it will be
safe to dig the pups out
and handle them or will Mom & Dad get really upset?
I would like to start getting
them socialized.
