Hi everybody,
I just wanted you to know that I wasn't bashing registering gerbils in a
previous post.
My thoughts were that the registration isn't a reason to charge huge $$ and
that references and reputation is still important.
Registration of animals doesn't guarantee quality or disposition, it's the
breeder behind the animals as well as the genetic make up of the breeding
stock itself.
Of course, registration makes it easier to track information to specific
breeders.
So it remains a good thing in my book.
With selective breeding and quality care, along with breeding only hardy
animals will result in even better gerbils in the future!
