Hi Everyone -- Can anyone help me here? I placed a female pair (six weeks and eight weeks) -- I had them together for a week and they were nesting, grooming, etc. I placed them with a man and his five year old son on Wednesday and got this message today: "we woke up saturday morning and found the white gerbil dead , no marks no blood just very stiff i dont think there was a fight just the black one laying by the white one looking very sad how is this going to affect him" Any ideas on what might have happened here??
