I agree. I have a gerbil with one eye only partially opened. He's the
sweetest little fellow in the world, and beautiful, but I wouldn't dare
breed him, simply because I don't know what caused it. I got him from the
pet store, so I have no idea whether it is a genetic trait or caused by some
sort of accident.
