You would mix up some of the antibiotic and deliver it directly
by feeding the pup a few drops a few times a day by hand
with an eyedropper or needless syringe.

If the animal has any crusties around the eyes, discharge from
the nose, or more or less every time it breathes you hear the
faint clicking, go ahead and put the antibiotic in the water bottle,
AND feed it some directly. That way the mother will pass some
on through her milk and the little one gets a dose even though
he's not drinking water himself yet. If you do medicate, go
through a full ten days treatment.
