Hi,

I got my gerbils today. :) They already redesigned the
aquarium, but I'd like to rearrange it myself. I had
to do a hasty rescue after the DEH got trapped behind
the 'den'. That caused a lot of bedding scatter and so
one part of the tank is basically bare. I'd like to
take the gerbils out and put them in the plastic tank
they were shipped in to tuck more bedding behind there
and also make it safer so they can't get trapped
again.

I was planning on giving them some dust to bathe in
while I was cleaning up the aquarium -- how should I
transfer them to the plastic tank? I don't want to
scare them or possibly make them afraid of my hands..
can I just do the "scoop" method?

They're sleeping right now. :) Have been sleeping most
of the day with little wake-up times to try out the
wheel, chew, eat, and drink. *g* And also frantically
dig at the glass. o_o;

Cheers,
Christina
