Jaws, one of our (my boyfriend and mine) 3 month old gerbils and when we
first got him and put him in the cage with the wheel he did the exact same
thing for about a week...then he got the hang of it! But I know that he
never had experience with a wheel cause when we bought him and Foxy they
were in one of those caring cages with like 10 other gerbils! as long as he
isn't getting hurt your little guy should be okay :)
