Hi everyone,
Can you give me some ideas as to how I can add a 2nd level to my 25 gallon tank? I
want an extra level so the gerbils will have more floor space to run on. Sarah gave
me the idea of using a chrome shower corner shelf that comes with suction cups
(thanks, Sarah!). I've never gone looking at home improvement stuff, so I'll have to
go find out what that looks like. But what else?
Here are what I'm wishing it can be:
1. "transparent", as light can pass through it so the floor underneath isn't all in
dark shadow.
2. easily removable, as in I can just lift it off when I want to get at the gerbils
underneath.
3. not that easily destroyed.
4. safe for little gerbil paws.
I'm hoping that it would be maybe half a floor so that the gerbils can hop up from
their house's roof onto it. Then I won't need a ladder.
