I have another question, for me this time ... has anyone ever had a
gerbil dislocate a hip? I have one little girl that I thought broke a
leg, but now I'm not so sure. I can't tell if what I'm seeing is
because of the way she's holding it up or because something is out of
place. It's been a long time since I've seen a broken limb. Most of
the time she keeps it from touching the ground, yet somehow she still
manages to jump! It's been a few days and I haven't seen any
improvement, but like I said, it's been awhile since I've seen a break,
so I don't remember how long it usually takes ...
I haven't been able to figure out what she did to get injured, but she's
really hyperactive so who knows. I do have all my wheels fixed up to be
safe. Perhaps she tried to climb on top of the wheel or water bottle
and fell, that's about all I can think of.
