Update on Shelley's new TPC (The
{Pandora Clan)....
I have been very busy as I work
full time so sorry I haven't been able to read or even get my New 2 cents worth
in on anything. I have also "down" a lot with a chronic pain thing I have been
dealing with. But the update is is that Gerbie (of the wilderness) is doing
great and just as beautiful as ever and Jin (her "friend") is fine, although he
would like to have sex. But it ain't gonna happen I don't think.
Pandora and Blade's pups are doing
great -- there are STILL 5 pups and they are 10 days old today... I looked at
them and Pandora is "fine" with that although after I had them out today, I just
noticed she is moving them to the other end of the cage... again. Oh
well.... I am trying to figure out if they are Chinchilla or Siamese.... I
don't know how to tell... they all look dark grey to me (o: They are
fat and they are wiggly and squeaky. Mommy Pandora is doing good and looking
good and Daddy Blade is the same.
Our "accident" of 3 pups from
Bambi (my little agouti) and Thumper (she's white, that's all I know... all of
her light spots of yellowish are gone now)... well these guys are doing great
too. Thumper is a biter from her Mom (the evil Dot), but at least she lets me
pick up the pups and put them back ins and doesn't chase them all over and bit
them in their little "bums" like her Mom did. Maybe that's just cuz we've had
her since she was a pinky and we got her Mom and DAd when they were already full
grown and had had a couple litters. Two of them are agouti (I can know agouti
now) and the other one is turning a yellowish-brownish-golden color.... so I
don't know what that could be.... humm... if I have time at work, I'll sneak
onto the INternet and try and find a picture of this one so I can give him/her a
"color". (o:
All of this is really exciting and
with summer finally started here in Washington State that's exciting also. In
addition to my daughters are coming up to visit next week so.... we are really
busy.
We are working on pics (got some
this weekend)... I mean some "good" color pics.... and my husband is working on
getting some "freeze frame" shots set up so that I can throw them up on the
Internet so you all can see what everybody here looks like and how they are
doing.
That's all. Whew, I'm tired.
