I'm pretty certain they won't allow animals in the cargo area at this
time of year, not over that route (Dallas connection). Have you been to
Texas? It's HOT. This is about the hottest time of year.
Even if it were allowed, I seriously doubt they would survive. And I
don't think gerbils are allowed as carry-ons on any airline, just b/c
they'd be a major problem to catch if they escaped.
