waterbottles

Hi all,

My three boys, especially the older one, Cinnamon, has a tendency to chew on
his water bottle, to the point where there's a hole either in the bottle
itself or the cap.  Is there a way to get him to stop chewing on the
waterbottle?  They have plenty of other things in their tank to chew on, and
having to supply a new waterbottle every week is getting kind of irritating.
Also, I hear everyone talking about spotted, pied, and patched gerbils.  
What's the difference between the three?
