Michelle, I can Identify with you, but not because of all the
youngsters on this list. I just started a new job at a call center,
and most of the employees look like they just got out of nursery
school! Talk about feeling my age! But here, where we all share our
love for our little furballs, I feel on equal footing no matter what
anyone's age. This is a great list.
My oldest child is also fifteen (and also named David), so that gives
you an idea how old I am. And I am looking forward to many years
enjoying the company of gerbils. We started out getting them for my
kids, but I think "Mom" has taken them over! Keep enjoying them.
And if anyone really hassles you about liking them, maybe invite them
over to see your gerbils. Maybe you'll win them over.
