Hello List, Just a quick thought I had that's probably been talked about before but I don't recall seeing it. When Thumper was a baby and we'd have her out to play and then put her back after like 10 minutes, her mother Dot, would like "punish" her??? Now Thumper turned out to be a "vicious biter" and will never again be breed to. However, she doesn't mind us playing with her babies at all ??? Does any one think that her being punished after us playing with her as a baby could she be associating "our smell" with being punished, making her a vicious biter??? or would it more likely be because her mother Dot, was a vicious biter or both??? It just kinda bothers me that Thumper turned out that way cause she was a good baby and is a very nice looking gerbil and a good mother but has no "manners" at all !!! We've tried everything to no avail, she is just a "vicious biter" and too old to change her ways :o( Failed, Don "TPC"
