Hello all,
I don't know if you remember me coming on the list about a month
ago asking questions about traveling with gerbils, etc. Well, we were to
be gone a month, and originally we were supposed to drive the 1000 miles
to NY with our precious Muffy, but things changed when my Mom had to have
stomach surgery. So, we ended up flying to NY and leaving my Muffy
behind. Something told me it was all wrong - I knew it was too long. To
be courteous, I brought Muffy over to my friend's house who would be
taking care of her, instead of leaving her at our house for the whole
month. Well, yesterday morning I got a call from my friend and she was
quite upset. The night before Muffy's stupid plastic cage had fallen
apart while the family was out and they came home to find Muffy loose in
the house. In the process of catching her somehow she was killed. Muffy
was my best friend. I am just devastated.
