I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your little friend. It can be so
hard to deal with, when we lose a beloved pet. And you may be feeling guilty
for having to leave Muffy behind. Please don't "beat yourself up" for that.
It sounds like you had to make a difficult choice when you left Muffy with
friends, and you did the best you could at the time. What more can any of us
do? I hope you can look back on the good times you had with Muffy and that
will give you some comfort. Best wishes.
