I did not create the list, that was Sharon Kahn who no longer
subscribes.
The list is self maintaining. I have no more control over the list than
anyone else.
Because of difficulties we had in the past we created the charter as a
guide for how people should behave. I wrote the first draft of the
charter, which after much debate and amendment was accepted as the
charter. This has since been amended several times where the users of
the list have asked for chances. I maintain the list, and always invite
comments on how to improve it.
