Gerbil Colours - Please help

Hi Can anyone help me with a question on Gerbil Colours. At Present we have 5 adults 1)    Lilac   } 2)    Lilac   }  Lead Coloured, Black Eyed, tummy lighter than back 3)    Lilac   } 4)    Grey Agouti 5)    Dove      Light Grey, Pink/Red Eyed, Self Coloured Two pairs have produced the following litters 1) + 4) Litter 1    3 Golden Agouti, 3 Argente Cream/Golden Litter 2    6 Golden Agouti 2) + 5) Litter 1    These are just over a week old but seem to be                 1 R.E.W. , 1 Dove , 2 Lilac , 2 Black As far as I can find out, a Lilac/Dove pairing should not produce Black/Slate pups. Is this correct or have I mis identified the adults/pups. Many Thanks Colin p.s. I am located in Bristol, UK
