I have a baby who hasn't opened its eyes yet- but it looks like a nutmeg-
complete with ticking. The ears and toes and nose etc are dark as expected.
I have had several litters out of this group before, and nutmeg is common
and there was never anythign unusual before. The other colour genes in the
family line include schimmel, pink eye, slate. they are a/a at the agouti
locus. Is this "normal" for some nutmegs? Its like it just came in as it
got its first coat- no wait for a colour-change. I have never seen this,
so wanted to see if anyone encountered it before or had any ideas about it.
