double checking cage sizes

Hi all,   I got a killer deal today at my local swap meet (ended there by chance, and am thrilled) paid $5! for a 20gal long tank with lid. I've been looking into this set up now for a few weeks, for 4 of males. (they've been staying in one of my old rat cages)   Basically my question was its 10gal for 2, 5gal for every gerbil after that, so its large enough for them?   I think if it is, they'll be excited to be out of the double story wire (tiled floors and ramps) cage they've been in for the past 3 months. It will certainly be more functional for me.   And if not. I only paid 5 dollars, with as many gerbils as i have here.
