Gerbils dont cry red "tears"! This is something that comes out of a gland
near or in their eyes. It really looks like tears, but it isnt. This
secretion is always there but a healthy gerbil is able to clean it away when
it is cleaning its face, but when the gerbil is sick or stressed it cant
and the red secretion is seen.
Therefore I dont think that the gerbil with the bloody nose cried through
his nose. Sorry, but I think it is nonsense.
Bye, Claudia.
