I dont think this is going to work out for a few
different reasons. 1)the split cage intro works when
you want to intro one gerbil to one other gerbil. It
will not work out with an already established group of
gerbils. The second reason is the fact that they are
female. Female gerbils do not do well in groups larger
then 2. So really it is not a good idea to get 4 of
them together anyway (even if it did work). In the
long run they will end up fighting. Now i do have a
group of 3 females that have been together since birth
(sisters) and were never sepperated. They live
peacefuly and love each other. But i think this is the
only way that more then 2 females will get along for
life. Anyway..why dont you take one of the girls from
teh group of three and try and intro her to the lone
female. Then you will have two groups of two. Just
make sure you give the split enough time. Do it for a
week switching them back and forth, adn if they dotn
get along give it another week. You cant rush it.
After about 2 1/2 or 3 weekd though if it is not going
good then it is probably not going to work. Good luck
hope i helpped.
