Geocities is pretty good, and quite easy to use.

I use a digital camera with 1.3 pixels for all of my
new photos. Which is probably the minumum amount of
pixels you will want in a good digital camera.
The pictures of the gerbils I had years ago, which can
be linked to from my past gerbils page, are all from
an old Kodak that was slowly dying. Except for the
pictures of Fat Albert, which were taken with one of
those little disposable cameras.

I scanned and posted them anyway, so that people could
get an idea of what some of my previous gerbs looked
like if they wished.
But a good scanner can do really well, when the photos
are of good quality, unlike my past gerbil photos.
