Mating

I had asked a while ago about my 2 gerbs not mating.  Well that just changed
tonight.  They have been going at it all night.  He is chasing her
everywhere.  They only stay mounted for a second or two but they have been
doing it over and over.  

Is that all it takes?

If it takes I should plan around 25 days?
