I am adopting a mystery colored gerbil from a friend. Her gerbil had pups.
The parents are a Pied Ivory Cream, and a siamese. The pup has the Pied Ivory
Cream features but has the tail, ears, nose, and feet of a siamese gerbil.
Weird, huh? Has anyone else every discovered this?

In other words, are you saying the gerbil is a white gerbil with
pink/red eyes, but dark tail, ears, nose and feet? How old is the
gerbil now? It could be a color point, but would it also be possible
that, like a nutmeg, the dark skin just shows through on those parts
of the body? I'm assuming that Ivory Creme is just another term for
REW.
Could it also be possible, since a Siamese is nothing more than a CP
Black with cbch, it could possibly have an ef, which would make it a
LCP Black/Light Siamese? A Siamese is so silvery light on the body
after all.

I think I need to know a bit more about the pup (age, ticking or no,
eye color, etc) before I'd really jump to any conclusions.

OH, and one other thing, what colors were the other pups? That could
help you figure things out too.

Well, that's my nickel. :)
