If this is true... Would an Eef have any affect on coloring?

I think the main factor right now is the age of the gerbil.... I've
been tempted to say it's possibly some version of a DTW, only with
the mention of the other dark body parts, makes this sort of
impossible. He's obviously spotted, whatever he is, especially with
the tip of the tail being white. Something spotted and color pointed,
depending on age, but other than that, for now I'm sort of baffled.
If there was some way to verify part of the genetics of the parents,
this could narrow things down. I wonder what the other siblings were?
