Take some and soak them for twenty minutes in some water.
If they dissolve (turn into pulpy mush like sogged paper or
ripped up well soaked toilet tissue roll cardboard) then
they are safe and if eaten will not cause impaction unless
the animal eats large amounts of them.
If there is anything cellophane (plastic) then discontinue
using.
