They did break down into glorp eventually? Or
did they retain integrity?
If I remember right, it's a thin sort of crisp paper
that's been crushed up and packed in a thin
cardboard box with holes and cutouts?
I'll have to look at them again in the store...
the other thing you need to check is that the
edges of the paper isn't sharp, that is, you
can't give yourself a papercut.

You could make similar at home by crinkling
up newspaper IF it's soy base ink and skip the
really solidly black pictures and ads.
Try packing it into a toilet tissue roll loosely.
