Salt and Pepper have been licking their waterbottle and their aquarium sides today. They have food and fresh water. Are they craving salt? I didnt know gerbils liked salt so I have never boughten any salt licks. Is there anything I can give them to quinch their salt needs until I get to the store?
They have been nibbling on my finger and licking my hands....
Is this normal?
Also, at the petstore I bought these corn on the cob things. Its just dried corn still on the cob. Is this good to just keep in the cage at all times or should they just be givin as a treat?
