Hi Colin, Wood based cat litter is fine (Beauty Pet(?)) as long as it's unscented, in fact they use it in the show pens @ hamster shows. :)
I was that you're based in bristol, have you seen the SWMGC website? It's a gerbil club/show for Gerbils in the South West / Midlands areas of the UK. Let me know if you're interested and I'll add you to the club's mailing list :) Tony P Co-Founder - SWMGC www.pyroport.com/SWMGC ----- Original Message ----- From: "Colin A Speed" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Saturday, November 03, 2001 10:14 AM Subject: Alternative to Sawdust? > Hi > > I recently saw a type of cat litter made from small pellets of wood > (compressed sawdust ?) and was wondering if this would be suitable for > gerbil tanks.
