Wood based cat litter is fine (Beauty Pet(?)) as long as it's unscented, in
fact they use it in the show pens @ hamster shows. :)

I was that you're based in bristol, have you seen the SWMGC website?  It's a
gerbil club/show for Gerbils in the South West / Midlands areas of the UK.
