I had a pink eyed white years ago who swayed from side to side when trying to see things outside the tank. I think I recall her pups doing the same once they matured. The PEWs I have now do the same thing. Especially the "good mother gerbil", Biscuit.
Does anyone have an explanation for this? I was wondering if they have impaired vision due to their lack of eye color/pigment.
