Yes that is curious. I noticed that Sage and Curry did
not seem to mate at all since the birth of their pups.
He tried once but she wouldn't allow it. They could
have mated sometime when I wasn't around. But I won't
know that for a while yet. Sage was out of the nest
for about one week before he was allowed to help with
the babies though.  He sure seemed happier babysitting
than being alone... until the pups got bigger and
still tried as hard as they could to find nips on him.
