Hi guys! I love reading your posts. Can I ask a question? I've read and heard two different opinions on which sex to choose when I get my new gerbils. I want to have two or three - no babies if I can help it! So, do I get females or males? A breeder told me one thing, the book and pet store told me another. What's the scoop? BTW, there's only one breeder around here and she can't sell any pups until February, so it looks like I will go to the pet store. I've asked around and nobody around here has gerbils! My next try is calling the local daycares to see if they have pet gerbils that have reproduced lately.
