I spoke to my son's friend's mom tonight & she says Persian and Tiny are doing fine. They've been re-named Chip and Dale (which is infinitely better than the names her son had originally planned for them! LOL). Tiny is Chip (I find that to be pretty appropriate since she's the smaller of the two gerbils.) Their mom said Tiny isn't clicking any more either. They got a book about gerbils and her sons are busy reading all about them. She said her sons adore them and play with them daily. Even the dog likes to watch the gerbils run around. And her husband said, "Well, they're a step up from lizards," - which I think is a compliment for him! I'm so happy. I think we made the right decisiont to give Persian and Tiny away. :-) -Jean
