Hi Donna,
happy to hear from you.....your suggestion and tips are always welcome! Yes, they are starting to get out from the nest and come to me begging for treats...I love them! My only sorrow is when I think that I will have to give all males to other persons....hope they will find a good house to stay! Tomorrow I will check them out again to make sure I separated males from females...One of the males looks just as his mother (the lil one that was killed by my dog) and have a nice big white strip of fur from the mouth to the belly and 2 strips of white fur that cross orizontally the liul hands....too nice!
Thanks a lot anyway....nothing is better than a tip from someone with lot of experience!
see you, Jane & the 7 Survivors

Hi Jane,
Very young pups that are separted from mom and dad
without an adult in the tank do tend to hide in a box
and not venture out much for a while, I've noticed.

I would handle them a lot.  I would spend time with
the boxes removed and your arm resting in the tank
holding food for them.  They will regain their
confidence by about 8 weeks, I'd guess.
