How would Topica know the address of this list because you signed up to it? Topica has no idea that this mailing list even exists. Topica have a very strict no adverts, no selling address policy etc so I doubt it is anything to do with Topica. This list is set up so that anyone, even non-subscribers can post to it. Someone must have placed the address on a website somewhere and that is how a spammer has got hold of it.
