My problem isn't NVidia. My problem is that none of the Linux drivers support dual video cards (i.e. 3-4 monitors) without a big performance drop, although I've yet to try Fedora 13's nouveau driver, which in theory supports that now. If I run on just the main monitor, the performance is fantastic.
