Stefan Tauner (the original developer is Stefan Peterson BTW, and he's on the list), Regarding the F8/F10 robbing, I think we're best leaving those alone. I even tried out F8 on gerbv, and it does indeed focus the sidebar handle and let you move it left/right with the cursor keys on my system. So moving to F7 is probably best there too. On the color selection accelerator, do you think anyone would actually use this? You already have to use the mouse to choose the color on the picker wheel, so you can't get around not using the mouse. Well, I guess you could actually move the cursor around with the cursor keys, but it would take you a *long* time. I guess I'm not sure how much work you should invest in that one if it takes a lot of hacking to do it... If you're looking into customization, gerbv really needs a preferences dialog...interested? :) And yes, please feel free to post the patches to the list...it should be quicker for both of us.
