*Keep a low profile*
I don't really understand why GIP needs to be kept low profile ? The BBC knows about it, and if they choose to they can stop it working at anytime. Putting your head in the sand and hoping 'Auntie' doesn't see you... doesn't solve the problem. As I understand as a licence payer I am not doing anything illegal by recording BBC content, just as if I was recording on a VHS. That is surely the argument, we licence payers should be able to do this, it is not our problem to stop piracy. Surely as a licence payer I could apply for a Nitro API key for my own use ?
