thanks to both of you for your help with this issue - i've now managed
to download both files.
manually updating the get_iplayer.pl script to the latest version
allowed me to use the --force and --tvmode settings successfully.

the hd versions are available to watch on iplayer, but I can't seem to
get them via GIP - though the results shows download fine using the PVR.
