"Sounds" is the dumbed down snowflake term for the more accurate and descriptive "Audio"
A bit like the ubiquitous and equally nonsensical "My Music" folder on Windows in which audio files can be stored. BTW I wonder what the costs to the hapless licence fee payers were to change from "Radio" to "Sounds"?
