Hi,

I just removed grok mention in configure.zcml and it worked... I could
add an variation item, but the portlet does not seem to work.

Is there anyone else in need of a product variation product? Should this
be an add-on product, or should it be an out-of-the box feature just as
recently added recurring payment items?

I think Mikko approach here is nice, but maybe we should not have a new
content item for this, but allow any content item be extended to a
variation item, as already it is with shippable and buyable.

I am willing to work on this in the next days, but I would be glad to
team up with someone with more experience and knowledgement of getpaid
code..
