I suppose if the freebox is the only thing you're connected to, this might
work.
if System.Network.IsConnected Then
MsgBox "Get the playlist"
End If
Well, as I am using RB555 on mac, the syntax
System.Network.IsConnected is not valid. Could you give me the
equivalent for RB555 ?
Or a way to check whether internet connection is on ? When it is on,
the video service is on and I can proceed.
I have a DSL modem connected to a router serving several macs and one
pc. Usually the router is on whenever a computer is used, but the DSL
box may not be running, or may be hung for some reason,or having a
beer with fellows in some bar, so detecting local network is not
enough. And I would like my app to be usable (and used) by others, in
any configuration, so thorough testing is necessary.
When the router runs and the DSl is stopped, HTTPSocket.get method
takes two minutes to let go, maybe because of the router looking
anywhere...
Thanks for your help!
