In the window's layout view, double-click on the slider.

This should take you to the Code Editor, probably in the "valueChanged"
event.

In the left-hand pane, about 8 events up, choose the "MouseDown" event of
the Slider Control

In the MouseDown event, you will notice that it is defined as a function of
type boolean.

In the MouseDown event, type the following code:

Return True
