Hi all I have a question for you more experience programmers relating to Installers. Which installer do you use to package your rb projects with all your .ini and help files etc? I've gone through the archive at the rb forums and have found several a suggestions as to good, cheap (ie. free) software that will do all the packaging etc one might need. The problem comes down to the final choice. I didnt' expect so many choices. Here is what I have found: http://www.reelmedia.org/pureinstall/ PureInstall http://www.thraexsoftware.com/aiw/index.html Astrum http://www.jrsoftware.org/isinfo.php inno
http://www.nullsoft.com/pinkumbrella.phtml nsis I tried Astrum but I am leaning toward Inno as it is free and I have found no negative comments regarding it's funcionality and no nag windows. For MAC dmg generation... any suggestions? Thanks in advance, I am taking this diversion now as I am in need of a break from programming and I hope, when my programs grow up, that I might be able to send them off with appropriate cloths.
