Well I really want to know if it possible to write to a html file on
a remote server
I tried the chat client thing and it wasn't working for me
I already have a HTMLViewer control to display the html file where
what the users type will be posted and yes this html file will be on
a website not local.

Any special reason to do it that way? You could do a pure html
solution via Lace ( http://socket7.net/lace/ ), or through
straight code with either a peer to peer or peer to server
arrangement in RB.
Just thought I'd toss those out there.

I assume I would need to provide userid password & domain name
I want to create a instant messenger using a html file on a
remote server
and I want to write to that file each time when a user types
something
Also how would I go about displaying each persons message to each
other on two different computers?
