Thanks for your interest. If there is a way to set the highlight
color in RB, I have not found it. Maybe someone else knows of a
way. Thanks anyway.

On MacOS10.4 I get highlight color, black text in both cases. That
is with 2006R3. On XP with multiline editfield, I get blue
highlight, white text in both cases, using 2006R2. On XP with a
singleline editfield I get blue highlight with white text on double
click, no response in code.
